This Atlanta homeowner's property unfortunately suffered a fire loss that started in the attic of another part of the home. In the process of extinguishing the fire, the laundry room floors and portions of drywall were soaked.
SERVPRO of South Atlanta was able to come to the rescue and quickly mitigated and dried the structure of the home. Our water restoration specialist documented the loss using our Matterport camera system and SERVPRO's proprietary loss documentation system. They then removed and disposed of the water damaged snap-lock vinyl flooring, and the damaged drywall from both the ceiling and walls. Restoration and drying specialist mitigated, dried, and sanitized the structure of the property using air movers, dehumidifiers, and professional antimicrobial cleaning products. Prepping the laundry room for the reconstruction phase of the restoration project.
Our construction team worked with the homeowner to choosing building materials comparable to original laundry room. New snap-lock hardwood floors was installed, drywall was replaced and repaired, and the entire laundry room was painted with a fresh coat of paint.
